2025 Events

PubquizThis years semester A Pubquiz was hosted at 'Union at the Don' with close to 100 attendees and $300 worth of prizes given away!
WorkshopAt this workshop in March we discussed the current NZ Job Market, with valuable resources shared and included a guest speaker.
Field TripWMSSA's first Field Trip hosted 15 WMS students. We had the privilage to tour the 'Big Chill' Distribution Centre in Ruakura.
Leadership PanelWe hosted 4 panelists from within the university and externally from the industry. We are grateful for their time and the valuable knowledge they shared about the leadership topic.
Culture in BusinessThis was an amazing event that we hosted in the Pa! With multiple established guest speakers, panelists, and cultural performances highlighting, showcasing, & discussing the cultures from here on campus
BBQ SausagesWe got out and about giving away free sausages outside the student centre & the Pa. Free for any and all students who walked passed. We're here to serve you!

COFFEE & CONNECTWe connected students with free coffee on campus! Students from across the Management School joined us for coffee and a chat.
CV NIGHTStudents were given the chance to accelerate their careers with special guest speakers, networking and free headshots!
PUB QUIZWe put your intellect (and planking ability) to the test with our annual Pub Quiz!
A STARRY NIGHT BALLWe danced the night away under the stars at our annual WMSSA Ball
Sem A SoiréeWe partied hard at House on Hood with the long standing tradition of WIne & Cheese.
Money Matters 101Joined by a financial advisor (and alumni!) we gained insight into how to gain financial freedom and make informed money decisions.
